Terms and Conditions - Messy Time Tales
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all participants of the messy play classes provided by Messy Time Tales. By enrolling in and attending our classes, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.
2. Enrolment and Payment
2.1 Enrolment
- Enrolment in our classes is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Payments are required to secure a place in the class.
2.2 Payment
- Payment must be made in full prior to the commencement of the class.
- We accept payments via credit card, debit card, bank transfer.
- All fees are non-refundable except as provided in the cancellation policy.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1 Participant Cancellation
- Cancellations must be made in writing via email to messytimetales@gmail.com.
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the class start date will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the class start date will not be refunded.
3.2 Class Cancellation
- We reserve the right to cancel classes due to low enrolment, inclement weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- In the event of a class cancellation by us, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another class.
4. Health and Safety
4.1 Participant Health
- Parents/guardians must ensure their child is in good health and free from any contagious illnesses before attending class.
- If a child shows signs of illness, we reserve the right to refuse entry to the class to ensure the safety of other participants.
4.2 Safety Procedures
- All parents/guardians must remain on the premises for the duration of the class.
- Participants should wear appropriate clothing that can get messy. We recommend that parents/guardians bring a change of clothes for their child as Messy Time Tales will not be liable for any stains or marks on children’s clothes.
- Messy Time Tales strives to provide items that are edible, non-toxic, and hypoallergenic. However, we strongly advise that all materials, including food items, should not be ingested by the babies and toddlers. Despite being edible, some products may pose a choking hazard. We do not accept any liability for any accidents, allergic reactions, or illnesses that may occur due to any product or item provided. It is the responsibility of the attending parent or guardian to supervise the children in their care.
5. Conduct
5.1 Parental Responsibility
- Parents/guardians are responsible for their child’s behaviour during the class.
- Disruptive behaviour that affects the enjoyment or safety of other participants may result in the participant being asked to leave.
5.2 Respect for Property
- Participants must treat the equipment and materials provided with respect.
- Any intentional damage to property or equipment may incur additional charges.
6. Liability
- Messy Time Tales is not responsible for any personal belongings lost or damaged during the class.
- Parents/guardians acknowledge that participation in messy play involves inherent risks and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Messy Time Tales from any claims arising from participation in the class.
7. Data Protection
- We collect and store personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
- Your personal information will only be used for class administration and communication purposes and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
By enrolling in our messy play toddler classes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
